Agnetha is more famous as a part of ABBA instead of as a solo singer in Sweden. ABBA was one of the most popular pop bands that ever existed, both commercially and globally. At the age of 15, she quit school to pursue a career in music She soon discovered herself singing in the band of Bernt Enghardt and soon gained the attention of a fan base. Enghardt landed her a recording contract, and soon she was at the top of the charts in Sweden by releasing her debut single. Bjornulvaeus, who she later married, became her partner and she joined ABBA. ABBA was one of the most loved pop groups across the globe during the time period of 8 years. The group received the gold and platinum awards throughout the globe. After ABBA she released three albums called 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman' And I Stand Alone'. They were all hugely popular in Sweden. They also enjoyed a huge popularity in Europe. However, they never made a big impact in the United States.
